With spring, comes growth!

And the St. Simons Island Writers Society is growing! We have completed our purpose, mission and vision statements, we have a new logo, we have completed various forms and documents, we have writing groups established, we have NEW writing groups to serve our members, and we have a program slated for next year.

This membership fee helps cover various costs throughout the year as well as a discounted price on programs and a discounted price for the Atlanta Writers’ Retreat here on SSI in November.

1. We will have an informal “meet and greet” with a brief program on Saturday, May 9 at the American Legion building at Gascoigne Park at 10 A.M. 

— PLEASE RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

2. We will have a casual meet and greet the weekend of May 16 & 17 at the gazebo by the Pier during the Village Market.  C’mon by, visit for a while, get some information, and sign up!

3. You will also be able to join the SSI Writers Society and pay your membership dues on our website!
